Opponents clash with Trump supporters’ MAGA Drag the Interstate event in Olympia
Supporters and opponents of President Donald Trump were clashing Saturday afternoon on downtown Olympia streets and near the Capitol Campus.
A convoy of more than 100 vehicles taking part in a national MAGA Drag the Interstate caravan arrived at the Capitol Campus early Saturday morning for a rally.
Then Saturday afternoon when they moved through downtown streets they were met by counter-demonstrators who had gathered at Centennial Park on Union Avenue. Law enforcement was on the scene.
