Elections

Reminder: You can still register and vote in today’s primary. Here’s how

Yes, you can still register and vote in today’s primary anytime before 8 p.m., but don’t go to the Thurston County Courthouse.

The county has opened a socially distanced voting center at the SPSCC on Mottman Road in Olympia. Election workers there, masked for safety, will walk you through the process. There are no election services at the courthouse.

Ballots must be postmarked by today, Aug. 4, to count. If you’re already registered and have a ballot, but you’re worried about missing the deadline, use a drop box. There are 29 ballot drop boxes throughout Thurston County open until 8 p.m.
