Update: Authorities locate teen Idaho girl, take suspect into custody after Amber Alert
A suspect is in custody and a 15-year-old Idaho girl is safe after an Amber Alert that lasted over 24 hours, authorities said Tuesday night.
A social media post from District 4 PIO in Washington state said that Spokane Valley and Spokane sheriff’s officials, along with Washington State Police, found the maroon Chevrolet Trailblazer that Jonathan Bowles, 36, was believed to be traveling in with missing teen Lillian Dixon.
The Twitter post said that the “female victim” was OK.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old Idaho girl, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Lillian Dixon has been missing since Friday and is believed to be with Jonathan Bowles, 36, who has multiple outstanding felony warrants for suspicion of child molestation related to other incidents, according to a joint press release from the center and the Lewiston Police Department.
Dixon and Bowles were thought to have been seen in Starbuck, Washington, on Monday, as well as in Pomeroy — a 30-mile drive from Lewiston.
Authorities believe Bowles may have stolen a 2007 maroon Chevy Trailblazer with Washington plates BKA0197, according to the release.
Dixon was last seen wearing a black and white California winter hat, black and white jacket with the number “8” on the back, a black shirt, blue jeans, brown and blue cowboy boots, and a yellow and blue backpack, the release said. She is 5 feet 2 inches and weighs around 100 pounds.
Bowles has brown hair, blue eyes, and is 6-2 and about 235 pounds. He “may be armed and should be considered dangerous,” the release said.
Police ask that anyone with information on the pair — or those who see them — call 911 or the Idaho State Police at 208-209-8730.
