Little Creek Casino Resort opens new lounge for sports betting

Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton will offer sports betting at its new lounge that opened Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Owned and operated by the Squaxin Island Tribe, the sportsbook is the closest to Olympia and is among the first Tribal casinos in Washington state to offer sports betting.

In partnership with International Game Technology, the Little Creek Sports Book will open on the main casino floor with eight betting kiosks, 30 luxury lounge seats, eight 82-inch video screens and a 20-by-10 foot LED video wall.

The resort, located 15 minutes from Olympia and one hour from Seattle and Tacoma, is also home to the Salish Cliffs Golf Club, Seven Inlets Spa and Skookum Creek Event Center and a 190-room hotel.

Sports betting became legal exclusively at 16 Tribes’ casinos in September 2021, but a new federal lawsuit announced last month may bring sports betting to the private industry.
