Boise has a lot to offer in the way of beautiful hikes, world-class ski resorts just a quick drive away, and a bustling downtown area, but sometimes a vacation away from the Gem State is just what’s needed.
Boise Airport announced Wednesday morning that it will start offering direct flights from Boise to Hollywood Burbank Airport in California.
The nonstop flight from Boise to Burbank won’t be available until May, but it will mark the 27th location that people can fly to nonstop from Boise.
Read below for the full list of destinations available directly from Boise as well as links to available flights to each location on the airline’s website.
Atlanta: Flights from Boise to Atlanta are only available through Delta Air Lines. Flight prices can be found on Delta’s website.
Austin, Texas: Flights to Austin are only available through Alaska Airlines. Flight prices can be found on Alaska’s website.
Burbank, California: Flights to Burbank will be available through Avelo Airlines and operate Mondays and Fridays starting May 24. Flights will be available on aveloair.com and will start at $59 each way.
Chicago: Flights are available to Chicago O’Hare Airport year-round through United Airlines and Alaska. American Airlines also offers seasonal flights to Chicago O’Hare through the summer.
Dallas: Flights to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport are provided by American and prices can be viewed on American’s website.
Denver: Flights to Denver International Airport are available through Southwest Airlines and United.
Everett, Washington: Located just north of Seattle, flights to Everett are available through Alaska for as little as $119 each way throughout the latter half of March.
Houston: Round-trip flights from Boise to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport are available through United for just over $500 in March.
Idaho Falls: Although just a 281-mile drive down Interstate 84, flights to Idaho Falls will be available from Boise starting in June. Flights will be available through Alaska and will cost as little as $69 each way.
Las Vegas: Flights to Las Vegas are available through Allegiant Air and Southwest and will be available through Alaska starting in June.
Los Angeles: Flights from Boise to Los Angeles are carried by four airlines, the most of any direct flight location out of Boise Airport. Flights to Los Angeles International Airport are available through Delta, United, Allegiant and Alaska.
Minneapolis: Flights from Boise to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport are only offered through Delta. Check out flight prices on their website.
Nashville, Tennessee: Flights to Music City are only available in the summer through Allegiant. Find summer prices on Allegiant’s website.
New York City: Direct flights from Boise to New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport are only available through JetBlue in the summer. One-way flights are as little as $169.
Oakland, California: Flights are directly available from Boise to Oakland through Southwest. Prices can be found on Southwest’s website.
Orange County, California: Sticking with California, direct flights are also available to John Wayne Airport in Orange County, just south of Los Angeles. Flights are available year-round from Allegiant and throughout the summer by Southwest.
Palm Springs, California: Just over 100 miles east of Los Angeles is Palm Springs International Airport. Alaska offers winter seasonal flights from Boise to Palm Springs but nonstop flights are no longer available for this season.
Phoenix: Flights from Boise to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport are available through Allegiant, and from Boise to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport through Southwest, American and Alaska.
Portland: Nonstop flights from Boise to Portland are offered through Alaska.
Pullman-Moscow (Washington): A flight on Alaska offers the chance to trim the five-hour-plus drive from Boise to Moscow down to a short one-hour flight for $109 each way.
Sacramento, California: The farthest northern California option offered from Boise, flights to Sacramento International Airport are available through Alaska and Southwest.
Salt Lake City: Another relatively short drive from Boise, Delta offers flights to Salt Lake City International Airport.
San Diego: Flights from Boise to San Diego are offered by both Alaska and Southwest.
San Francisco: United and Alaska offer nonstop flights out of Boise to San Francisco International Airport. Round trip flights are available for under $300.
San Jose, California: The final California location on this list and the next-door neighbor to San Francisco, flights into San Jose International Airport are offered through Alaska and Southwest for similar prices to flights to San Francisco.
Seattle: Flights from Boise to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport are available through Alaska and Delta for prices a little higher than flights from Boise to Everett.
Spokane: On the east side of Washington state, flights from Boise to Spokane are solely offered through Alaska.
