He’s sold 80 million records, nominated for 4 Grammys. Now he’s coming to the NWWA Fair

Rapper Flo Rida will perform at the Northwest Washington Fair on Aug. 18. Ticket sales were announced in a fair news release on Monday, May 2.

His breakout 2007 single “Low” was No. 1 on the charts for 10 weeks in the United States. His hits include “Right Round,” “Club Can’t Handle Me” and “Wild Ones.” He has sold over 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists, according to Wikipedia.

He was nominated for Grammys for “Low” with T-Pain, “Wild Ones” with Sia, Best Rap Album “R.O.O.T.S.” and Album of the Year for “The Fame” (as a featured artist).

Previously announced performers at the Aug. 11-20 fair include Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Aug. 20, and for King & Country, Aug. 17.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. Flo Rida concert go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 6. Grandstand reserved seats, preferred seats, and preferred chairs are available for $40-$65, with VIP tickets at $190. Tickets do not include $15 gate admission for the fair, which is required.

For access to the online pre-sale starting Wednesday, May 4, people can subscribe to the ‘Friends of the Fair’ email.
