Washington gas prices have increased again. This interactive map shows where to save

Gas prices are increasing yet again after a recent drop in Washington state.

Washington’s gas prices have increased, reaching a current average of $4.77 a gallon, an eight-cent increase since last week according to AAA.

Washington state also has the fourth-highest gas prices in the country, following California, Hawaii and Nevada whose gas prices average up to $5.78 a gallon, according to AAA.

As Washington’s gas prices are reaching record highs, the cost of gas varied greatly by county. As San Juan County averages $5.31 a gallon, Asotin County only averages $4.38, almost a dollar difference.

Since the price of gas skyrocketed in March, prices across the country and in Washington state have seemed to plateau, but some counties in Washington are now seeing slight increases.

In the first few days of May, counties such as Pierce, Whatcom, Thurston, Lewis and King County have all seen gas price increases.
