Buckle up, Washington; you’re about to be taken to Flavortown.

Complete with his trademark bleached, spiked hair and ever-present sunglasses, Guy Fieri will be back on our TVs this Friday night, June 3, for the premiere of his new four-episode show, Guy’s All-American Road Trip.

Starting in northern California, Fieri and his family travel north up the Pacific Coast for episodes in Oregon’s Gold Beach and Florence. Then they continue up the coast into Washington state to film episodes in Leavenworth and the Cascade Mountains.

“Guy takes audiences on the ultimate summer adventure on Guy’s All-American Road Trip, giving them an up-close-and-personal look at his incredible family vacation,” Jane Latman, president of Discovery, Inc., stated in a press release. “And with Guy at the wheel, audiences know they can expect a wild and fun ride filled with over-the-top camp side meals and some crazy competitions.”

The show sees Fieri not just enjoy a vacation with his own family but with five other families, too. Throughout the road trip, the families will compete against one another in various contests to determine a winner by the end of the series.

The first episode will air at 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Friday, June 3 on Food Network. The first episode will see the families at an organic farm in Crescent City, California, before traveling to Gold Beach.

Fieri’s travels eventually land the production in Leavenworth to check out what the show calls a “Bavarian village for some traditional treats at a bakery known for their gingerbread” in an announcement about the upcoming production.

“I’m stoked to hit the open road with my friends and family for an unforgettable trip where we’ll experience all the flavors, people, and places that make the West Coast so special,” Fieri stated in the press release. “And, of course, I’m throwing in a little bit of competition to keep them all on their toes!”

Fieri was spotted with a film crew outside Leavenworth’s Gingerbread Factory in June 2021, according to the Spokesman-Review.

The Gingerbread Factory has already featured on a Fieri show once before, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, in which he called the bakery “a little bakery with a big heart.” The celebrity chef has also filmed an episode of Diners, Drive-ins & Dives at Leavenworth’s 59er Diner.

In the episode at the Gingerbread Factory, Fieri will have the families on the show compete to decorate the best gingerbread house, according to the press release. They will then head into the Cascade mountain range to zipline and spend a night camping in the mountains.

The show will end on a “high note” when the families visit actor Jim Belushi’s cannabis farm in southern Oregon. Fieri appeared on an episode of Belushi’s Discovery Channel show Growing Belushi in January, according to The Oregonian, where he sampled cannabis-infused ice cream.
