This Washington winery is the best in the state, Yelp says. Here’s why
Wine enthusiasts can now check out the best wineries in every state, thanks to a new Yelp report.
In Washington, a winery in Woodinville that produces and serves “top tier” and “delicious” wine made the list.
To find the top wineries in every state, Yelp looked at businesses in the winery category. Then each winery was ranked using such factors as the total volume and ratings of reviews.
Yelp released the list of the best wineries in every state on June 15.
Ambassador Wines of Washington in Woodinville
This winery in Woodinville offers a variety of wines including cabernet sauvignon, syrah, merlot, grenache, petit verdot, cabernet franc and malbec — all produced from the winery’s three vineyards.
“This is a friendly, nice place to enjoy sophisticated old-world-style wines made from excellent fruit that the winery grows on its own land,” one reviewer wrote.
The winery has two tasting rooms in the city. It also offers occasional wine education classes and vineyard tours.
Guests can try wine flights offering a few different wines with 1-ounce pours.
“The $15 tasting flight featured 5 wines. No decisions to make, just a small pour of each. Most importantly, all of the wines were delicious,” another reviewer wrote.
