Lottery officials are asking the public to check couch cushions and glove boxes for a winning $1 million Powerball ticket bought in Washington that’s about to expire.

The ticket was purchased at a Maverik gas station in Airway Heights for the Nov. 7 drawing. It’s set to expire May 6, according to Washington’s Lottery.

The player matched all five white balls — 10, 33, 41, 47 and 56 — but missed the red Powerball 10, scoring them $1 million.

They have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their win, lottery officials said.

If no one claims the ticket, the $1 million will be put in a reserve account. Surplus from this reserve account then goes to the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account each June, lottery officials said.

This account “supports education in Washington State — from young children participating in early childhood education programs to college students pursuing their academic dreams through higher education,” the Washington’s Lottery acting director Joshua Johnston said in a May 5 statement.

Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tickets can be bought on the day of the drawing, but sales times vary from state to state.

Drawings are broadcast Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:59 p.m. ET and can be streamed online.

Airway Heights is about 10 miles west of Spokane.
