Western WA players win big with St. Patrick’s Day raffle. Where were tickets sold?
More than 100 lucky lottery players took home a pot of gold on St. Patrick’s Day.
Washington’s Lottery recently announced the winners of the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle, including the $1 million grand prize.
Although the majority of winning raffle tickets were sold in Western Washington, some lucky players purchased raffle tickets east of the Cascades, McClatchy Media previously reported.

St. Patrick’s Day raffle
It’s been nearly 15 years since Washington’s Lottery launched its first St. Patrick’s Day raffle in 2012.
In 2026, sales for the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle were limited to just 250,000 tickets, “creating stronger odds to win one of the raffle’s prizes,” state lottery officials said.
Raffle tickets were available from Jan. 20 to March 16, with a drawing held on Tuesday, March 17.
How much did raffle players win?
According to a Washington’s Lottery news release, there were a total of 117 raffle winners across Washington state.
One lucky Washington’s Lottery player scored the $1 million grand prize in the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle, while another won $250,000.
Two raffle players took home $100,000 apiece, while three players netted $50,000 each and five people won $25,000 each.
Five lottery players got $10,000 raffle prizes, and 100 players got $500 apiece.
$1 million raffle ticket sold in Seattle
The St. Patrick’s Day Raffle ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Safeway grocery store at 1423 NW Market St. in Seattle, according to the release.
A winning ticket worth $250,000 was sold at a Fred Meyer grocery store at 801 North Auburn Way in Auburn.
Meanwhile, someone bough a raffle ticket worth $100,000 at another Seattle Safeway location, this one at 8340 Northwest 15th Ave.
Another $100,000 raffle ticket was purchased at a Chevron gas station at 10918 East Canyon Road in Puyallup.
A winning raffle ticket worth $25,000 was sold at Hawk Fuel, 785 Northwest Basin St. in Ephrata.
Snoqualmie Casino, 37500 SE North Bend Way in Snoqualmie, sold a winning ticket worth $10,000.
Where were winning tickets sold on Olympic Peninsula?
According to Washington’s Lottery, a winning raffle ticket worth $25,000 was sold at Payless Food Store, 1609 Main St. in Freeland.
Pit Stop Mart & Smoke Shop, 221 South Boone St. in Aberdeen, sold a raffle ticket worth $10,000 to a lucky player.
Did anyone win the raffle in Snohomish County?
A winning raffle ticket worth $50,000 was sold at QFC, 22828 West 100th Ave. in Edmonds, according to the Washington’s Lottery release.
Which grocery stores sold winning tickets in Vancouver area?
Safeway, 6700 Northeast 162nd Ave. in Vancouver, sold a winning raffle ticket worth $50,000, Washington’s Lottery said.
