Cascade Forward's Arts in the Park will feature a large-scale chalk mural to include participants of all ages and will be located around the park's gazebo, according to a press release from organizers.
The group plans to take an aerial photo of the finished, but temporary piece.
The event will also include rock painting, face painting and make-your-own buttons.
Free art supplies for kids, as well as snacks will be available until supplies last.
Organizer Austin Pressley said in the press release that the event is part of Cascade Forward's mission to help "people live fuller, freer, more connected lives," which doesn't always include advocacy.
