The store's manager, Tyler Elam, 34, of Longview, told The Daily News he received a call from police about the crash at about 1 a.m.
He and his brother arrived at the shop at 1413 Commerce Ave an hour later to find the showroom's glass and part of the building's brick destroyed, but no vehicle in sight.
Longview Capt. Tim Watson said two witnesses heard the crash at about 12:45 a.m.
The witnesses told police they saw a sedan driving away with something dragging behind it.
After checking a surveillance camera, a light green and tan Subaru Legacy from the early 2000s was seen driving away, Watson said. The sedan was leaking fluids as it drove off, he added.
Watson said officers collected broken car parts from the scene.
The section of the store that was damaged is closest to the Loving Promises Lingerie at 1429 Commerce Ave.

A damaged storefront after a suspected hit-and-run driver crashed into the showroom at Elam's Home Furnishings and Sleep Center on Monday, April 20, in Longview.
Elam said no one was hurt, and the police estimated the damage to be around $15,000.
In addition to the visible exterior damage, the crash broke a couple tables inside the store and leaked gasoline from the sedan. A nearby, smaller black light pole was also struck along the sidewalk.
The store will be closed for an undisclosed period due to a gasoline odor, Elam said. Staff is in the early stages of repairs and carpet removal.
The Commerce Avenue shop opened in the early 2000s, but the company has been in business since 1987.
