Firefighters respond to Walla Walla scrapyard fire

Walla Walla Fire Department, Walla Walla County Fire District 4 and College Place Fire Department responded to a scrapyard fire on Monday, April 20, at 201 N. 11th Ave. in Walla Walla.

The departments were dispatched at 7:50 p.m. to the fire, which was brought under control by 7:59 p.m. No injuries were reported and damage estimates are still being assessed, according to a City of Walla Walla news release.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Walla Walla Police Department at 509-527-4434 and ask to speak with a detective.
