Clark County property taxes due Thursday
Property taxes are due Thursday, but Clark County taxpayers who waited until the last minute still have a variety of payment options.
The Clark County Joint Lobby is closed for renovations, but there is a secure dropbox located on the first floor of the Clark County Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver. Taxpayers can deposit a check in a sealed envelope into the dropbox between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
Taxpayers can also pay by check using a temporary drive-thru window, located at the east entrance of the parking lot at the Public Service Center. The window will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
Clark County property owners who want to avoid the trip to Vancouver can pay online using a debit or credit card or an e-check from a checking or savings account. Using a debit card will cost an additional $3.95, and using a credit card will include a 2.39 percent vendor fee.
And, yes, there is still time to mail property taxes. Checks should be sent to Clark County Treasurer, P.O. Box 35150, Seattle, WA 98124-5150. Mailed payments must be postmarked by Thursday, April 30 to avoid interest charges.
To pay online, visit clark.wa.gov/treasurer/payment-options or call 1-833-440-8685.
