She resigned to accept another job opportunity with a Washington state agency, she wrote in an email. She is scheduled to begin her new role Monday.
"I look forward to my new opportunities ahead," she wrote.
Sprague did not state what agency she's moving to or what her new position will be.
She added that she had been returned to her position as vice president at LCC April 13 after being placed on administrative leave pending an investigation earlier this school year.

LCC has not shared details about the investigation or said when exactly she was placed on leave. Public Information Officer Wendy Hall previously told The Daily News that LCC is legally unable to comment on personnel matters.
Sprague's suspension coincided with the LCC Board of Trustees' decision to place former President Matt Seimears on administrative leave in January, but LCC released a statement a day later saying the two issues were unrelated.
