Teens For Tomorrow seeks new members
May 14-Clark County Teens For Tomorrow is seeking applicants to fill vacancies for the upcoming 2026-27 year.
The group aims to help prevent addiction and improve mental health among children. Teens For Tomorrow welcomes members who have experimented with substances but are no longer using, are currently in recovery or have never used substances.
Terms last for one year, from September to June, and require four to eight hours of work per month. A typical year in the program includes planning and leading youth trainings, sharing ideas with lawmakers, creating vape quit kits, developing community-wide prevention campaigns and designing an art show.
Applicants must be Clark County residents between the ages of 12 and 18 next school year and be passionate about drug and alcohol prevention and mental health.
Applications and directions for submissions can be found online at teensfortomorrow.clark.wa.gov/apply.html. The submission deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday.
For more information or to request an application, contact Alaina Green, Teens For Tomorrow peer education coordinator, at 564-397 - 5841 or alaina.green@clark.wa.gov.
