May 16-People in Business
Jenn Hutchman has been appointed to the Clark County Animal Protection and Control Advisory Board, with a term effective immediately through Oct. 31, 2028.
As executive director of Furry Friends Cat Rescue, Hutchman has been on the front lines of the growing animal welfare crisis in Clark County - working directly with the community, filling critical service gaps and pushing for real solutions where systems have fallen short.
PLS Engineering recently added two new members to the team.
David Murray, a recently certified land surveyor in training, joined the PLS team as a junior survey lead. Murray brings a strong background in surveying, including construction staking, American Land Title Association surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, site plan surveys and line staking, developed through his experience with previous survey teams.
In his prior roles, Murray assisted the lead surveyor with field operations, completed topographic and site plan surveys, and maintained equipment and supplies to ensure his teams were well prepared for each new project.
Evan Underland brings valuable hands-on experience in the field. He began his career as a survey technician and advanced to the role of survey lead with a previous employer. In that capacity, Evan led boundary and topographic surveys, directing small two- and three-person crews with efficiency and precision.
