A Powerball player in Western Washington missed the jackpot but still won big, according to lottery officials.
The Powerball player matched four white balls and the red Powerball in the drawing on Wednesday, May 20, according to Washington’s Lottery and the national Powerball website.
The lucky gambler won $50,000, a Washington’s Lottery spokesperson said.

Where was lucky Powerball ticket sold in Washington?
The winning Powerball ticket was purchased at a Speedway Express gas station, 14300 NE 20th Ave., Building E, in Vancouver, according to lottery officials.
It takes roughly an hour and 40 minutes to drive from Olympia to Vancouver.

The winning numbers in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing were 10, 28, 30, 46 and 57 with a Powerball of 25, according to the national Powerball website.
