Wenatchee School District to offer free summer meals

The Wenatchee School District will again offer free summer meals for children 18 and younger beginning June 23.

The program runs Tuesday through Thursday through July 23 at Mission View Elementary School in Wenatchee. Breakfast will be served from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m., followed by lunch from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Meals must be eaten on-site. Service will not be available July 1-2.

In addition, the nonprofit Small Miracles will provide free grab-and-go lunches Monday through Thursday from June 22 through July 30. Meals will be distributed from 11 a.m. to noon at the following locations:

* Washington Park, 110 S. Miller St.

* Lincoln Park, 1410 Mission St.

* Methow Park, 420 Methow St.

* Pioneer Park, 1620 Russell St.
