WSDOT announces daytime road work on southbound I-5 in Tumwater June 2
May 29-Travelers who use southbound Interstate 5 will see daytime road work in Tumwater, the Washington state Department of Transportation (WSDOT) recently announced.
From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, the right lane will close between Tumwater Boulevard and 93rd Avenue. The lane closure creates a work zone for WSDOT maintenance crews to repair pavement.
All ramps and exits will be maintained throughout the closure.
Crews need warm and dry conditions to repair pavement. The repairs will help reduce the rate of deterioration on the roadway, according to a WSDOT news release. The work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
