Longview-Kelso Early Bird Lions donates $6K to Nippon families
Longview/Kelso Earlybird Lions Club recently raised over $6,000 for families affected by the fatal May 26 Nippon Dynawave chemical spill.

On June 4 and 11, the club dedicated its Carmel corn sales at Fred Meyer to the fundraiser.
The club sells the popcorn in a variety of flavors on Thursdays from May through October each year.
"It is a privilege to support those in need in our community in the time of need," the notice states. "Our motto is 'We Serve'."
