The winning Powerball ticket was purchased at a Shell gas station, 7200 North Aurora Ave. in Seattle, according to state lottery officials.
Seattle is a roughly 40-minute drive from Tacoma.
What were winning Powerball numbers?
The winning Powerball numbers in Saturday’s drawing were 17, 38, 46, 50 and 69 with a red Powerball of 20, according to the national Powerball website.
How big is the Powerball jackpot?
As of Tuesday, July 7, the current Powerball jackpot was at $434 million with a cash option of $194.7 million, according to the Washington’s Lottery website.
When is the next Powerball drawing?
Powerball drawings are held at 7:59 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with Double Play drawings at 8:30 p.m. on those nights.
Ticket sales are cut off at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and resume at 6:46 p.m.
