Silent auction to raise funds for Ohme Gardens

People are invited to attend an evening of music, wine and food to raise money for Ohme Gardens, the 9-acre garden located outside Wenatchee, owned and operated by Chelan County, on July 17.

The Ohme Gardens Friend Society is hosting Roots & Rhythm, a silent auction meant to meet a $10,000 goal to go towards improvements to Ohme Gardens' "public restroom entrance, enhancing safety, accessibility, and comfort for the thousands of guests who visit each season," according to the Ohme Gardens events page.

The event is from 6:30-9 p.m. The silent auction will include "unique garden offerings and locally sourced experiences," according to the events page.

The event is for people 21 and over. Tickets cost $100. Live music, food and wine will be provided at the event.
