Cowlitz County Elections Office to open Fridays for August primary

The Cowlitz County Elections Office will temporarily change its hours and open its doors five days a week starting Monday to better accommodate voters ahead of the August primary election.

The office will be open from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, from July 13 to July 31.

The office is located in the county administrative building, 207 N. Fourth Ave., Kelso, room 205.

The elections office's normal business hours of 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday will resume on Aug. 3.

However, on the day of the Aug. 4 primary, the office will also have even longer hours, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
