1 person airlifted after single-vehicle crash on Highway 30
One person was airlifted to a hospital after a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 30 near Deer Island.

Eric Smythe, fire chief of Columbia River Fire & Rescue, told The Daily News that one person was airlifted to a Portland hospital. He said crews were dispatched at about 8:17 a.m.
Columbia River Fire & Rescue announced on their Facebook page at 9:22 a.m. that the highway had reopened.
The fire agency reported at 8:42 a.m. that crews were at the scene of an accident on U.S. Highway 30 near Tide Creek Road, which shut down the highway in both directions.
