Son shoots and kills father, then himself, in Kent home, police say
Kent police are investigating after they say a witness told them that a man shot and killed his father, then himself, Tuesday night at their shared home in the West Hill Cambridge neighborhood.
Police responded about 9:30 p.m. to a shooting reported at the home near 31st Avenue South and South 272nd Street. Officers found two men, ages 48 and 70, dead, both with gunshot wounds, according to a statement Tuesday from the Kent Police Department.
A person police described as a witness told investigators the men lived together, according to the statement.
Representatives for the department did not immediately respond Wednesday to inquiries.
