The FIFA World Cup takes over North America this month and next, with teams from at least six countries (and our own) traveling to Seattle to play high-stakes soccer matches at Lumen Field (aka Seattle Stadium, as it will be called during the tournament).
The biggest match will feature the United States playing Australia on June 19.
In addition to the U.S. and Australia, the men's national soccer teams from Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Egypt, Iran and Qatar will play FIFA World Cup matches in the Emerald City in the coming weeks.
Soccer fans from around the globe will also be traveling to Seattle (and to other host cities across North America) to get in on the fun.
