Woman dies in I-90 motorcycle crash in Bellevue

A 40-year-old Marysville woman was killed when her motorcycle rammed into the rear of another vehicle that was slowing for traffic on Interstate 90, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-90 just east of I-405 in Bellevue, around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

A news release from the State Patrol said the woman was ejected from her motorcycle into traffic when she rear-ended a Kia driven by a 57-year-old man from Woodinville. She was run over by a Toyota Camry driven by an Issaquah man, 49.

Troopers identified the motorcycle rider as America George.

The cause of the crash was listed as following too close.
