Dust advisory for Eastern Washington Wednesday midday

On Wednesday at 9:33 a.m. the NWS Spokane WA released a dust advisory in effect until 11 a.m. The advisory is for Adams, Lincoln, Spokane and Whitman counties.

"At 9:31 a.m., an area of blowing dust channel near Ritzville to Spokane," explains the NWS. "Hazardous travel."

The NWS adds, "Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake."

This advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.
