Letters to the Editor

Idiots and bullies? Or are they morally weak

Two recent letters to the editor (Aug. 28) brought a smile to my face. They were both written, I assume, by Democrats. The first letter chided the fellow that called Democrat voters idiots. The second talks about leadership and claims Trump is a bully.

I would posit that it is Democrats that are bullies. Every four years they get out the same deck of cards. The first is the race card, the second is the war on women, and the third is dirty air and water.

All of these cards have one purpose, and that is to cover up the fact that (a) Barack Obama was and is a miserable failure and (b) that Hillary Clinton is a serial liar and felon that plays fast and loose with National Security and the law in general.

While many Republican elected officials have vowed not to vote for Trump, there is little doubt that our two senators and my representative, Mr. Heck, will vote for Hillary in spite of her many faults. You see, Democrats are much more disciplined than Republicans. The vast majority vote the party line in spite of how damaging it is to the country.

I wouldn’t call them idiots, just morally weak and unable to see the damage that they do in the name of compassion. Fifty-two years and 18 trillion dollars fighting the war on poverty and we still haven’t won even one skirmish. It is time that minorities ask, “What have I got to lose?”
