Tired of anthem protest

A great big thank you to Patti Simpson for her letter regarding Kaeprnick refusing to stand during the national anthem. She put into very civilized words what many of us would have done more crudely.

Every week there is someone, or a group, who is dissatisfied with the USA. I'm sick of hearing their complaints over and over again and sick of all the protests. Don't these people have jobs? If not, why don't they look for work. It's especially nauseating when when these complaints come from anyone who has earnings in the millions, has everything imaginable, and will never have to worry about where his next meal will come from.

If things are so awful for Kaepernick and others who do nothing but complain, then work to fix the problems you think exist! Otherwise, please leave our beautiful country and let the rest of us celebrate our flag and our freedom.
