Customer service covers a lot

About a month ago, after riding on the bus and having drank too much coffee, I decided to stop in at Grocery Outlet (on Harrison Avenue) and get a few things. Needing to use the bathroom, I asked a clerk for permission. I was told that “we no longer allow any customers to use the restroom.” Needless to say, I was in great discomfort and for some of us older folks this is a real hardship.

This policy may save the Grocery Outlet a few dollars, but it is a slap in the face to the customer. Like it or not, people do need to use the toilet from time to time, and to punish us all like this is hardly an incentive for me to shop there anymore.
