America needs less government
For more than a century we've been slowly seduced by the siren song of moral relativism into casting off 2,000 years of sound belief, and conduct.
From Nietzsche to Marx, we have been lead to believe real truth does not exist (it is only what we make it). There is no God but the all-powerful state, that we're only creatures of evolution, we have no mind of our own. As a result, we must be guided, and molded, by certain “supermen” who arise in our midst: Josef Stalin; Adolf Hitler, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, etc.
What happened to us? What happened to the Christian nation called the United States of America? The nation founded by our forefathers based upon the principal of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness . The nation that believed if we went to church on Sunday, worked hard, respected our fellow citizens, and were charitable to our relatives, friends, and neighbors when they were in need, we could build the greatest country on earth.
In conclusion, the giants who built this country believed that “that government governed best that governed least.” The government’s primary function was to provide a framework - but only a framework- of rights and guaranties to keep us secure within our borders, and free to go about our business without undo intrusion on our lives. But they also knew that without a people governed by such sound moral principles, such a government would ultimately surely fail.
