Treat people right; support Gary Edwards

I am urging my fellow citizens to support Gary Edwards for county commissioner. I have known Gary both personally and professionally for over 30 years. His family has deep roots in Thurston County and he has a proven history of leadership as the county elected sheriff for 20 years.

But Gary is much more than just a former sheriff. He is well versed on the important issues facing our community and knows how to get things done. He is known as a problem solver who respects the many positions of the citizens he would serve as commissioner.

When Gary was Sheriff I heard him say to all of the new deputies he swore in to always treat people as they would like to be treated in similar situations. I have no doubt he would carry this commitment to treating all people with basic respect into the office of county commissioner.

Gary is not an ideologue - he genuinely wants to make county government work best for all of the citizens of Thurston County. Plea e join me in voting for Gary Edwards for county commissioner this fall.
