Vote yes to ban fireworks

The 4th of July is one of our nation's important holiday's. American's celebrate this day by the display of our country's flag, parades, family get-togethers and lighting up the sky's with beautiful fireworks. These fireworks are either public displays or individual displays at home.

Our concerns are the home fireworks. Our mid-size town has grown so much now, it is at a point that it causes much concern. The personal injuries, property damage and the physical and mental harm to our pets and other animals are now out of control. For this reason we feel that home displays should be controlled or banned.

We need to protect the rights of people who do not shoot off fireworks. People can go to municipal fireworks, and we all can have a safe and happy 4th of July.
