Hulse best choice for commissioner
I watched one of the debates for the county commissioner seat being vacated by Sandra Romero (District 2) and was really impressed with Kelsey Hulse who showed not only a surprisingly thorough grasp of county issues, but remarkable common sense and good judgment in approaching those issues.
As someone who has long been concerned about protecting the environment, I believe Hulse would be a far better choice than Edwards. Endorsements from Thurston Environmental Voters and the Sierra Club agree while her opponent says repeatedly that the county’s major problem is too much regulation. I do not believe we can protect our irreplaceable natural resources if we remove or relax our land use protection rules.
Further, as head of the development office at Evergreen, Kelsey Hulse has a solid background in financial management and the fresh ideas and intellect we need to help the County retain its natural heritage. I urge your vote for Hulse.
