Vote Cooper to support military

The military has a large presence and important impact on our local economy. The proximity of Joint Bast Lewis-McChord ensures that. We need to be good hosts and welcome active duty, reservists, veterans and their families. We need to be open and share our values and build a community that includes peace activists and veterans both. These categories are not necessarily exclusive.

I will be voting for Jim Cooper this fall for County Commissioner, District 1. He is an army veteran and understands how for us to be good hosts to our military families! With a lifelong commitment to public service and five years experience on the Olympia City Council the choice for me is clear, I am voting Cooper on Nov. 8.
