Chris Reykdal for SPI
Chris Reykdal is the right choice for Superintendent of Public Instruction, no matter which political party you belong to — and this is coming from Democratic Representative Sam Hunt and Republican Representative Drew MacEwen.
The State Superintendent is a nonpartisan position because it is about more than politics — it is about our kids, our educators, our parents who want their children to receive an excellent education, and our shared future.
We have both worked with Chris in the State Legislature, and we both agree that he is absolutely the right person for this job. Chris is extremely passionate about education (having dedicated his entire career to it), highly intelligent, incredibly humble, a great listener, honest, and unquestionably devoted to public service.
Chris will be an excellent Superintendent for a myriad of reasons, but one of the most important ones is his ability to build partnerships with people from all backgrounds and work well with those he disagrees with.
When making decisions, Chris examines any and all possible outcomes from every angle: who it will effect, who it will hurt, who it will help, and how he can change the decision to make it work best for everyone.
It is undeniable that Chris is a fighter for what he believes in. Even when it is an uphill battle, he does everything he can to make his constituents’ lives better, and we know he will do the same as State Superintendent. Please vote for Chris Reykdal — the proven bipartisan choice.
