Podlowdowski best for Secretary of State

The last time Washington had a Democratic secretary of state, over 85 percent of eligible voters were registered to vote. Under the incumbent Republican secretary of state, that figure is 75 percent. Put another way, there are over 1.4 million reasons not to vote for the Republican incumbent, 1.4 million Washington citizens 18 or older aren't registered to vote.

To put that in context, more Washington citizens are not registered to vote than are registered in 34 of Washington's 39 counties. That's shameful.

It's time we elected Tina Podlodowski, the leader we need as Secretary of State, to make sure every citizen is registered to vote, that the Washington State Voters' Right Act is passed into law, and that every vote is counted.
