Duane Davidson for state treasurer

This November, I encourage you to vote for Duane Davidson for state treasurer.

As the elected Thurston County treasurer, and someone who has worked in middle-management for past state treasurers, I know a good administrator when I see one. In his native Benton County, Duane fixed an office in turmoil, and has been recognized nationally for starting programs that have saved taxpayer money.

Duane has been endorsed by the Washington Federation of State Employees and many other unions based on his stance on pension protection and positive working relationships with his employees. He has shown true leadership as a member and two-time president of our County Treasurer’s Association.

Unlike his opponent, Duane has broad bipartisan support, including endorsements from both Senate Democratic Leader Sharon Nelson and Senate Republican Leader Mark Schoesler. He has earned my support as well.
