Lake Lois trails better than ever

For anyone who would like to enjoy an easy nature walk Lake Lois is located at Sixth Avenue Southesat at Lake Lois Road Southeast and trails are all throughout the habitat reserve. In 1993, the Hebert Family sold the property to the City of Lacey.

In the past years many Boy Scouts have created trails throughout the habitat reserve for service projects and Eagle advancement. This year it was my turn to complete a Eagle project.

After a good day's work and a nice lunch our troop completed my addition to the park, linking up two sections of the loop trail around the lake. Now after 17 years I have been able to give back to my community and add to the work others have done. I hope all who live in the area can get to enjoy the labor every group has done to make Lake Lois a nicer place.
