L & I had exceptional ceremony

The Dept of Labor and Industries presented a Veterans Day program on Nov. 9 that was an outstanding 1  1/2 hour program. All veterans who worked for L & I were honored by showing their military picture and their current one. All other veterans were honored. Special 50th anniversary Vietnam pins were given to veterans who served during the Vietnam era. Pins were also presented to families whose loved ones who served but have passed on. A presentation on the bravery of the Tuskegee Airman was also given. The entire program was an experience to witness and will be remembered.
