Olympia needs more parks and fields
Have you ever wondered why there are more stores, recreation parks and fields in cities besides Olympia? I have always wondered why there were more places to go outside the capital. People living outside Washington will think that Seattle is the capital and don’t even know that Olympia is a city. We need to change that.
Since Olympia is the capital we should have recreation field and parks. For example I think there should beat least one public pool and soccer field. There are many recreations park outside of Olympia though it takes a long time to get to them. There are many in Lacey and Tumwater but none in Olympia.
There also should be more international stores. From my experience there is only one Asian store, and it is very small. When our family wants to get Asian food we will have to go to Lakewood at the closet. It takes around 30 minutes and is very inefficient. It would be helpful if there were stores closer to Olympia.
It is not just Asian foods. It goes for Italian, French and other worldwide foods. I understand that these stores cost a lot, but it would be a great idea for a lot of people. There will be a lot of other kids like myself that will be happy to have a recreation center closer to Olympia. It will take less time and be more efficient.
