I’m a 70-year-old white retired farmer (rural eastern Washington, cattle) state legislator/lobbyist.

Leonard Pitt’s writing is most often a pleasant read, often thought provoking, and sometimes prickling to my white psyche.

Thank you for your letter to the president. It captured so much of my feelings, thoughts, and gratitude for a great man who has served us all so very well.
