Water rules are based on science

Washington State and Thurston County is faced with decreasing water supplies. Even with the rain, there is actually a limited amount of water in the ground. Exempt water wells have been over permitted.

Unless Thurston County follows real science in coming to grips with this issue, lawsuits will be filed by environmental groups and tribal governments. These lawsuits will create more gridlock in the county over water rights.
