Sanctuary state ignores issues

Ardean Anvik’s April 8 letter questioning Gov. Inslee’s motivation for making Washington State a sanctuary for illegal aliens is right on the mark.

Illegal aliens are not refugees; they are invaders who have intentionally committed crime against the U.S. when they knowingly become criminals with their first step across the border.

State sanctuary will become a magnet for illegals and among them will be Spanish speaking Islamic terrorists whose fanatic passion is to come here and kill you and me.

I have personal experience as an almost victim of Muslim terrorism just before Christmas 1988. My Wife and I were returning home via Europe and booked London to New York December 21, 1988 on Pan Am Flight 103. We had re-booked to Polar Flight Pan Am Flight 203 direct London to Seattle just days earlier and were in our hotel at Heathrow when Pan Am 103 was blown up over Lockerbie Scotland killing all 259 on board with us almost among them, and 11 on the ground.

We would learn that Libyan Islamic terrorists planted a bomb on Flight 103 at its previous Frankfurt stop. Inslee’s sanctuary will attract Islamic terrorists to Washington before other states that have not declared sanctuary. All they have to do is not get caught getting here and Inslee will give them shelter next door to you and me. He is not seeking the presidency. More likely seats occupied by Patty or Maria.
