Parties should come together for the greater good

Please reach out to Republicans to seek agreement in allowing Syrian refugees to be given asylum in the US. They must be allowed to safely flee the horrors of war.

Work in any way you can to help these refugees, they need our support. We MUST be here with open arms, like the Statue of Liberty says;

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”

This phrase has become the literal truth in our world, when chemical nerve agents are being thrown at those masses.

We must be there to help them with international humanitarian aid during this crisis, as well as welcoming those refuge-seekers with open arms to our shores; not demonizing them through bigotry and xenophobia as Trump would do.
