Denny Heck Town Hall disappoints

I attended the town hall meeting hosted by Congressman Denny Heck on Tuesday evening at SPSCC. I can see why the Democrats lost this past election at all levels. God help us if they get widespread power again.

The meeting began with a reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance including the phrase “one nation under God”

If the Democrats actually believe this why the attack on Christianity and the Bible. Case in point: Eliminate all reference to God from the public schools, 1960s; the killing of the unborn who are made in God’s image,1973; the redefinition of marriage which has stood for thousands of years, 2015. Not allowing people to run their businesses as their faith dictates. As a teacher in the public schools I was told to remove a poster from my classroom which made a reference to the name of Jesus. Really sad.

When asked if demonstrations were helpful, Heck responded by encouraging them. My thought was when the Democrats demonstrate you can look forward to a lot of damage to public places and vandalism.

Trump, of course was ridiculed, about many things including his actions in Syria. My thought, where was a Syrian policy these past eight years. Remember the Obama Red Line?

I could go on, but it is clear that the Democratic party has been taken over by the far left socialists who clearly want to fundamentally change this country. I was really surprised by their standing for the Pledge of Allegiance.
