Fed up with masked protesters

Being a 20-year resident of Olympia and a 25-year resident of Portland before that, I’m disgusted with the free rein these, so called, protesters are given. Both states are weak in handling these lawbreakers. The damages to businesses, especially small businesses, are completely preventable.

If lawmakers would step up and pass a law, making it illegal to hide your identity when protesting. if everyone who showed up with their faces covered were prevented from protesting, it would prevent, in my opinion, the damages which inevitably follows when these anarchists come into town, with evil intentions.

Expose who they are and I predict their behavior would change, knowing their identity will be revealed. No longer will they be able to create havoc, then dump their disguises in an alley and blend into the crowd. When they commit a crime, their faces will be recorded and they will have no chance of getting away with it.
